WORLD CONGRESS 11-14 FEBRUARY, 2008

will be exhibiting at Mobile World Congress, the largest mobile
event in the world, based in Barcelona, Spain 11-14 February, 2007.
1 Ltd will be demonstrating its latest miniature AF camera modules
at their booth - 1G28. The 8.5mm AF module takes miniaturisation
to a new level and meets handset manufacturers’ requirements
for a robust, miniature module that is suited to mass-market applications.
Based on 1 Ltd’s proprietary Xlinea™ Shape Memory Alloy
(SMA) actuator, the module has a very simple design which overcomes
the limitations normally associated with miniature cameras. The
modules design simplicity provides inherent robustness ensuring
that it meets the industry standard drop test and reliability requirements.
The small volume occupied by the actuator enables a large M6.5 lens
barrel to be fitted, so improving image quality.
